AI-Native PHP/Laravel Developer (m/f/d)

Are you an experienced PHP/Laravel full-stack developer with at least 5 years of professional experience, proficient in Laravel and MySQL, and have you already worked with AWS? And most importantly: Do you now consider AI to be an integral part of software development?

Then we’re looking for you!

We’re developing a SaaS platform for the data- and AI-driven optimization of digital marketing campaigns, which has been in successful use for over five years. Just as with our product, we consistently follow an AI-first strategy in our software development.

We don’t view AI as merely an occasional aid in writing individual functions. Coding agents are an integral part of our software development lifecycle. From analyzing a ticket through implementation and testing to code reviews and documentation, we purposefully deploy AI wherever tasks can be meaningfully supported or taken over.

We’re looking for developers who use AI effectively, freeing up more time for the tasks where human experience is crucial: architecture, technical decisions, quality, and accountability for the outcome.

That’s why you should already be familiar with Claude Code or OpenAI Codex and actively use them in your daily development work.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing our SaaS platform using Laravel and MySQL.
• Design and implementation of new features and technical solutions.
• Developing, connecting, and integrating APIs.
• Using coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex as an integral part of your daily development work.
• Independently resolving tickets using AI-powered development workflows.
• Taking responsibility for the code you and your agents generate—from the business requirement to the production-ready solution.
• Further development of our shared agents, skills, coding rules, and AI workflows.
• Ensuring software quality through automated testing, static analysis, and quality gates.
• Analyzing and independently resolving technical challenges.
• Close collaboration with the team on architectural decisions, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of our SDLC.

What You Bring to the Table

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a PHP developer, ideally in full-stack development.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Experience in developing, integrating, and using REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, ECS, IAM, or API Gateway.
• You already use Claude Code or OpenAI Codex regularly in your development work.
• You can understand, evaluate, and take responsibility for AI-generated code.
• You’re interested in questioning traditional development processes and working with us to further develop an Agentic-SDLC.
• Very good command of German.
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and the motivation to continuously develop your skills.
